| Hare Notes: | The International Fanny Pack Day Hash is always the most memorable hash of the year! Everyone always has sooo much fun at this hash, they end up not remembering it at all. Hashers are probably the only group of halfminds in the world who never gave up on bum bags as a functional (questionable) fashion statement. Trail will be short and fast or long and slow but there will definitely be surprises to look for. Also we should have a naming at the end that hopefully someone writes down. Notes: I’m cummin’ Elizabeth! This is the big one! That’s right. There will be 2 river crossings totaling over 1,200 feet of shiggylicious wetness (turkey hashers will have dry feet). And that doesn’t even count the muddy west bank! Trail will be memorable though you will forget it after circle. There will be mini alcohol bottles throughout, fun checks, a beer mile, cake, a BBQ grill and a fire pit. There will be camping and hot dogs for all or most. And those wishing to camp are welcome to do so. I too will be camping out by the river under the stars. Several bottles of stuff have been set aside for the campout. All this and why? Because come this weekend, I can finally pick from the cheap menu at many restaurants. Ha!

Another trail shrouded in mystery. Deep in the dog days of summer when the stink of sweat is cleansed by the discharge of hanging clouds. When all the dirty pack wants is to finish trail before barfing just to say they survived. Why is the hare being so secretive? What is he even being secretive about? Is discretion really the better part of valor? Why would anyone still be reading this? Are you reading too much into this? Do any of the words you’ve just read have any meaning or is this whole exercise apropos of nothing?
